TEXT: Psalm 119:10-11 – With my whole heart I seek You; let me not wander from Your commandments! I have stored up Your Word in my heart, that I might not sin against You.
អត្ថបទ គម្ពីរ ទំនុកតម្ដើង ១១៩:១០-១១–ទូលបង្គំបានស្វែងរកទ្រង់ អស់ពីចិត្ត;
ឱសូមកុំឲ្យទូលបង្គំ វង្វេងចេញពី សេចក្តីបង្គាប់ របស់ទ្រង់ឡើយ! ទូលបង្គំ បានកំណត់ចាំព្រះបន្ទូលទ្រង់ទុកនៅក្នុងចិត្ត, ប្រយោជន៍កុំឲ្យ ទូលបង្គំធ្វើបាបនឹង ទ្រង់ឡើយ ។
According to rumor, sheep like to wander, perhaps believing that the grass really is greener on the other side of the fence. We are the sheep of Jesus our Shepherd and, as typical sheep, we have quite a bit of experience in wandering. We are often tempted to stray from the paths of righteousness on which our Shepherd leads us.
មានពាក្យ ចចាម អារ៉ាម ថា, សត្វចៀម តែងតែ វង្វេង, ប្រហែលជា វាជឿថា មានវាលស្មៅ បៃតងខ្ចី ល្អជាង នៅឯ របង ម្ខាងទៀត ។ យើងជា កូនចៀម របស់ ព្រះយេស៊ូវ ដែល ទ្រង់ជា អ្នកគង្វាល យើង, ហើយ យើងជាប្រភេទ ចៀម ដែលមាន បទពិសោធន៍ ខ្លះៗដែរ ពីរឿង វង្វេង ។ ជាញឹកញយ យើងតែងតែ ជួបនឹង សេចក្ដីល្បួង នាំឲ្យ វង្វេង ចេញពី ផ្លូវ នៃសេចក្ដីសុចរិត ដកខ្លួនដាច់ឆ្ងាយពី អ្នកគង្វាល នៃ យើង ។
We follow the tempting voices of the world and set out to see and do what we should not see or do. We use angry, unkind words to hurt others, and we do not love one another as we should. That kind of off-road wandering is spiritually dangerous.
យើង ធ្វើតាម សំឡេង នៃការល្បួង របស់ លោកីយ៍ ហើយ ចាប់ផ្តើម សំឡឹងមើល និង ធ្វើអ្វីដែល យើង មិនគួរ មើល ឬ មិនគួរ ធ្វើ ។ យើងប្រើ ការខឹង សម្បារ, ពោលពាក្យមិនល្អ ធ្វើឲ្យ អ្នកដទៃ ឈឺចាប់, ហើយ យើង មិនស្រឡាញ់គ្នា ។ ការវង្វេង ផ្លូវ បែបនេះ គឺមាន គ្រោះថ្នាក់ ខាង ព្រលឹង វិញ្ញាណ ។
Jesus knows that we love to wander. He is the Good Shepherd who laid down His own life to save us. He calls us to repentance and in forgiveness and love brings us back to Himself. Jesus said, “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me” (John 10:27). We hear the voice of Jesus in the Word, in Holy Scripture.
ព្រះយេស៊ូវ ជ្រាបថា យើង តែងតែ វង្វេង ។ ទ្រង់គឺជា អ្នកគង្វាលល្អ ដែលបានលះបង់ព្រះជន្ម ដើម្បី ជួយសង្រ្គោះ យើង ។ ព្រះអង្គ ត្រាស់ហៅ យើង ឲ្យប្រែចិត្ត ហើយ ដោយ ការអត់ទោសបាប និង ដោយសេចក្ដីស្រឡាញ់, ព្រះអង្គ នាំយើង ឲ្យត្រឡប់ មកឯ ទ្រង់ វិញ ។ ព្រះយេស៊ូវ មានបន្ទូល ថា, «ចៀមខ្ញុំ ទាំងប៉ុន្មាន វាស្តាប់ខ្ញុំ ហើយ មកតាម ខ្ញុំក៏ស្គាល់វា ដែរ» (យ៉ូហាន ១០:២៧) ។ យើង ឮ សំឡេង របស់ ព្រះយេស៊ូវ នៅក្នុងព្រះបន្ទូល, គឺជា ព្រះគម្ពីរ បរិសុទ្ធ ។
Through the power of the Holy Spirit, with faith in Jesus, we recognize and believe that those sacred words are the words of our God and Savior. As we hear and read and study the Scriptures, we store up the treasured words within ourselves, so we remember all that our Lord has done for us and all that He has taught us. With those words in our hearts, we see more clearly the righteous ways that God has laid out for us to follow.

The Word of God, our Shepherd’s sacred voice, is also the called the sword of the Spirit. We are sheep who fight back! We war against our foe Satan, who prowls around like a roaring lion. We are told in Scripture to resist the devil and he will flee from us. We resist Him with the Word stored in our hearts, remembered and recited, just as Jesus used Scripture to resist Satan’s temptations.
ព្រះបន្ទូលនៃព្រះជាម្ចាស់, គឺជា សំឡេង ដ៏ពិសិដ្ឋ របស់ អ្នកគង្វាលយើង, ក៏អាចហៅថាជា ដាវនៃព្រះវិញ្ញាណ ដែរ ។ យើង គឺជាចៀម ដែលវាយបក ត្រឡប់ទៅវិញ! យើងច្បាំងនឹងខ្មាំងសត្រូវ របស់យើង គឺជា អារក្សសាតាំង, ដែលដើរ ក្រវែល ជុំវិញយើង ដូចជា សិង្ហ កំពុងគ្រហឹម ។ ព្រះជាម្ចាស់ ប្រាប់យើង នៅក្នុងបទគម្ពីរ ថា ឱ្យយើងទប់ទល់ នឹងអារក្ស នោះវា នឹងរត់ចេញ ពីយើង ។

The Word shows us the mighty acts of God as He saved His people. In Scripture we read and treasure the prophetic promises that foretold Jesus’ birth. We see how God’s promises were fulfilled in the life, death, and resurrection of our Savior. Through the Word of God, we see and follow in the footsteps of Jesus. From Genesis to Revelation, our Shepherd’s voice calls to us.

As we listen to Him, we store His Word in our hearts. As the prophet Isaiah said of the Lord’s precious voice, “Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, ‘This is the way, walk in it’” (Isaiah 30:21a). With the Word stored up in our hearts, we set our feet on the Shepherd’s path and keep walking.

WE PRAY: Lord, help me to treasure Your holy Word and lead me on paths of righteousness. Amen.
